Prom Night Preparations

This month of Febuary, schools usually have this activity, we at our school will be having our Tribute Prom. Seniors are free of charge because last year we already paid 500 pesos, the juniors of today are entitled to pay the 500 peso fee.

Okay, okay, you may ask, what to wear?

Formal. In my older bros' time, they wore their long sleeved barongs. Today, suits or tuxedos rather are hot, and also hot, very hot, literally. Grabe pawis mo no'n pare! Babaho ka lang! So the barongs are much practical to wear nowadays, because it's very hot. According to some fashion experts, the tuxedo isn't in to where this prom activities, the barongs have dominated and ruled the prom events lately. I myself, am planning to wear the barong I borrowed from my bro for this upcoming prom night. By the way, baka may mag-barong tagalog ka ha. The barong I am talking about is those long-sleeved polo better known as the polo barong, not the barong tagalog. By the way, you can buy a hot and snazzy barong from Bench, or if you're low on budget, there's always the ukay-ukay around the market, or you can just borrow one from your loving father, and brother, or kapitbahay.

Okay, blah blah blahs and stuff. It's like this, go to your prom night wearing a barong instead of the usual business attire tuxedo, you will have better chances of becoming the Prom King. Just smile and dance with as many girls as you can pare, at dapat maging suabeng suabe ka sa mga tao chong, palagay ko sa'yo na ang korona pare! Sayo'ng sa'yo na! Lamunin mo!

Don't forget to take your beauty rest (if you're really good looking you don't need it), take a bath, wear your dad's expensive perfume, 'wag ka nga palang magpo-polbo pare, mag-hilamos ka lang ng maige at gwapo ka na, mga gago lang ang polbo boys, be yourself, and have a wonderful time!

Baguhin n'yo na nga pala 'yung mga style n'yo, 'yung isasayaw n'yo na lang 'yung babae at wala naman kayong ginagawa paikot-ikot lang parang tanga, I mean it's your opportunity para kausapin s'ya and to get to know her better! 'Yung iba kasi d'yan may masabi lang na may naisayaw sila, pero wala lang din parang tanga lang, let's change that guys!

Getting Some Government Papers

So you graduated, finished your studies and everything. One day you decided to get a job, but you're just a fresh graduate with no experience. None of the big companies would accept you, you're tired, frustrated, and exhausted. Come one, the fast food chain is always available. So you submitted your resume to one of those big fast food corps like Jollibee or Mc Donalds. You were one of those batch of applicants who were called back. So this company hires you and asks for a lot of requirements! These are what they usually ask from you:

-Barangay Clearance
-Police Clearance
-NBI Clearance
-Birth Certificate
-Drug Test Results
-And many more!

Barangay Clearance

Getting a barangay clearance is as easy as buying prepaid cell phone load electronically from your favorite store, but all of the sudden things just started to get worse. You know these technical problems that usually occur, too many text messages being sent and received, too many calls, and most specially too many wireless internet subscribers that they can't handle. So the server ends up to a total system failure that causes it to shutdown! Sorry, I got carried away.



Well it's very easy actually, you just have to fall in line to a bunch of people (nearly a thousand fall in line every day) waiting in line every single day trying to pay tax or better known as getting this year's seduala. If I were you I'd get a sedula during any day of the week except for Monday, and any month except for early January, and also go as early as 7:00AM to avoid the hustle. Once you've paid the tax I mean get your sedula, go to your barangay and ask for a Barangay Clearance. Tell them that you'll use it for local emplyment, sometimes they'll ask you a fine of 20 pesos as payment for the print job and use of their inks for your thumb marks and stuff. Our barangay offers free barangay clearance, just bring your latest sedula and voala!

Police Clearance

Okay, you're done with that. Now you need a police clearance. Well it's easier to get a police clearance, but you'll need a few things.
-Latest Sedula
-60 pesos
-Ball Pen
-90 pesos

The first procedure is not like getting your sedula. It's a lot easier, I mean with the line. Only a hundred people request for a police clearance everyday, go to your municipality office and go the place where you can get a police clearance. If you live in Binan, Laguna, you may wanna go to the place where you got your sedula. It's just a window away, once you have your sedula and 60 pesos, just wait a couple of minutes and you're done.



Now you have to go to the police station, there you will have to fall in line maybe about 10 to 15 minutes average. Show your official receipt (the one given to you where you paid 60 pesos) and then you will be given an application form, that's where your ball pen comes in handy, take note that they won't lend you a pen so you have to bring your own.

Once you've filled up the form, you must fall in line again because a lot of people too are willing to get a police clearance, give your form and you will have to fall in line again. This time they will take a picture of you, they use this digital camera of some sort, I think it's just a web cam.
Come back the following working day, maybe the day after today at 2:00PM to 3:00PM and please do come early, a lot of people are there too. You're not the only one getting this! BTW, the police clearance is valid within 3 months from the date of issue.

NBI Clearance

Once you've completed those other stuff, here comes the sting! If you're from Binan, Laguna, the nearest NBI Office is located at Sta. Rosa, just one ride away from Binan Terminal or Binan National High Way. Just take the nearest Sta. Rosa NBI or Sta. Rosa Bayan route and you're good to go! Just prepare P7.50 or P6.00 for students and also a sleeping mat or a tent, some pillows, an umbrella, ball pen, two valid IDs (if this is your first time getting this, bring 2 valid IDs: Recent School ID, driver's license, postal ID, any valid ID, note that the birth certificate will not be accepted) food, lots of water, and money.

Please, go as early as you can! This is the hardest part, so you gotta go really early! As they say, "the early bird always catches the early worm". So please, go very early, around 5:00 to 5:30AM. At that time a lot of people are already falling in line, so go earlier than that. Now you're in line, I'm telling you if you go to the end of the line around 5:30AM (the office opens at 8:00AM), you would probably be entertained around 8:30AM, that's easy.

However if you're late, you came around 10:00AM, you would probably get your turn around 2:30PM, that's gotta hurt! It's an easy application, just fill up the form carefully to avoid hustle, also bring your latest 2x2 ID picture to quicken the process. You will pay 115 pesos for the fees, 100 for the processing and printing stuff and 15 pesos for the documentary stamp. They will take your picture, but if you want it really quick give the your own picture. Processing takes about 2 days,

but if in some cases they find out that you're not the only person who carries that name, it would take about a week. Mine took about a week, because someone is also named Oscar Balidoy Desiderio III, what a scumbag! Some issues are criminal cases, if you have a criminal record or if the other person(s) has a criminal record, your application could be held back wasting your precious time. Some took about 2 months before they could get their validated clearance, sometimes it takes about a year. Well anyways it all pays off once you're done.
TIP: If you know someone who works in that office, someone close to you or someone you probably know, your neighbor may be. Well that's a lot of help,

like me I happen to live in Tubigan and my parents has this friend who works there. So I just asked a little I mean big help from him, and voala! NO MORE LINES, NO MORE DELAYS, he would have processed my application a couple of days after but it took a week because as I've said someone else is also named after me or me named after him, whatever. I can still remember those people looking at me, as if I've done some very awful. I just got there and then I'm done, it's just that? Hehehe, sorry guys. Well now you know the hustle and stuff, getting a job is not easy, even though you're well educated, you're not alone. A lot of people are also looking for a job, you just have to be patient and you just have to accept the possibility of others being better than you. That's it, but still believe in your self and always have faith in God, there's also a lot of luck within your own instinct, just be yourself. That's just the first few steps, there's more to do and a lot of lines to wait in to.

Stupidest Word Filtering - NOT Lunch Okay?!

This is very serious! I stopped playing flyff because of this! Flyff Power Board is down, I can't post! This is the stupidest thing that ever happened to pFlyff! WTF?! Extended maintenance 'til 3pm, and it has passed 3pm and still the servers are down. I got into the game around 3:30pm, and I noticed something weird. Everytime I try to chat with someone (the main chat function), the filter blocks the word "ng" and then turns it into "cornhole". What a stupid thing to do?! Is pFlyff virused?! Hacked?! What?! Now, typing some bad words in capital first letter only format lets you say those words. Example, the "F" word, try typing it. All the bad words, just type it in capital first letter format and you'll see. What do we do with this stupidity?!
Dapat tinesting muna nila bago ginanon, 'di man lang nila alam na pwede nang mag-mura, tapos 'yung mga salitang part lang ng mga words, nabo-block. Mukha kayong cornhole! Saan n'yo naman nakuha 'yon?! Kayo lang ba ang nag-adjust ng game? 'Di n'yo ba kinunsulta ang AeonSoft sa gagawin n'yo? Kalokohan oh, nang-aasar yata ang mga GMs eh. Ayun, pati 'yun i-type mo sa chat ng game, 'yung "GMs" bino-block din. So parang sinabi n'yo na cornholes pala ang mga GMs! Hahaha! Sige, kaka-badtrip eh. 'Di makapag-laro ng ayos, sana naman maayos na 'yan bukas, ang dami na nga palang nagku-quit. Si VonMigori, si escel, at marami pang iba. Ewan, may mas mahalaga pa daw silang gagawin sa buhay nila kesa mag-flyff. Tignan n'yo, nag-quit na 'yung maraming issue sa server namin! Hehehe, 'ge guys. I've installed it to my couzin's shop, and I've blocked lots of sites including YouTube.com (sorry video addicts!).
